AviaRent celebrates inauguration of Mary4 student residences in Bremen

• 119 furnished and barrier-free student apartments
• New-build complex right on the University of Bremen campus

AviaRent Invest AG yesterday celebrated the opening of a new student apartment building at Mary-Astell-Straße 4 in Bremen. The celebrations included music, finger food and drinks, an inauguration ceremony and a tour of a show apartment.

The micro-apartment complex was completed earlier this month and comprises 119 furnished residential units with total living space of more than 2,500 square metres together with 21 car and 125 bicycle parking spaces. The new building features a common room, a laundry room and storage areas. In addition to 106 one-room apartments with average floor plans of 20 square metres, the complex also has nine wheelchair accessible apartments and four two-room apartments. The apartments will be rented exclusively to students. AviaFund Solution Services GmbH will manage all lettings.

“The property is ideally located on the University of Bremen’s research and technology campus”, says Sascia Hauke, Managing Director of AviaFund Solution Services GmbH. “With this project, we are particularly proud to have delivered on our aspirations to create barrier-free and thus sustainable housing solutions especially for students”.

AviaRent Invest AG acquired the student apartment development on the University of Bremen’s campus in the Horn-Lehe district from the Lührsen Investment Group. The transaction was financed by Bremische Volksbank. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The complex is also only a few minutes’ walk from the Bremen Technology Park and is located at the heart of a high-density research and technology hub with a large number of high-tech companies in the immediate vicinity.
